An old traditional type of wheat, called SPELT

ALB-GOLD Organic Spelt Pastas are exclusively produced from regionally
cultivated traditional wheat (spelt) grown on the Swabian Alb. In close co-
operation with the farmers and millers, the chain of production, from the
grain to the ready-packaged pasta, has been made absolutely transparent.

The slightly nutty flavor and their ageeability makes spelt pasta a valu-
able food, which can contribute to a balanced diet. Many wheat allergy
sufferers are able to agree with spelt in their food.
